I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSCW), licensed in New York State. I hold an Advanced Certificate in Trauma and Disaster Mental Health (IDMH-New Paltz) and received training in trauma-focused CBT, psychological first aid, and assistance for military personnel and other first responders. I am also Certified in Thanatology (study of death, dying, and bereavement) through the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC). I’ve spent years in bereavement work, assisting in local hospitals, guiding hospice families through end-of-life issues, and counseling individuals faced with sudden or traumatic loss.

Other facets of my practice are less intense but no less important. I’ve assisted adults confronting problems at every life stage. I have significant experience with adolescents through both in-school and private counseling.  I also have specific background in helping hospital and veterinary professionals manage work-related stress and grief. I work with anyone who is navigating difficult or transitional moments and trying to understand themselves better.
